Transfer to Akagera National Park: Drive to Akagera National Park, a journey of approximately 2.5 hours.
Afternoon Game Drive: Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s diverse landscapes and wildlife.
Dinner & Overnight: Check into your lodge within the park.
Picnic Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park with stunning views of the savannah.
Boat Safari on Lake Ihema: In the afternoon, take a boat safari on Lake Ihema to see hippos, crocodiles, and numerous water birds.
Dinner & Overnight: Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Lunch En Route: Stop for lunch in a local restaurant along the way.
Evening at Leisure: Arrive at Volcanoes National Park in the late afternoon. Spend the evening at your lodge, preparing for the next day’s gorilla trekking.
Dinner & Overnight: Settle in at your lodge near the park.
Post-Trek Relaxation: Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. The afternoon is free to explore optional activities such as visiting the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village or taking a nature walk.
Dinner & Overnight: Enjoy dinner at your lodge.
Transfer to Kigali: After lunch, depart for Kigali. Depending on your flight time, you may have the opportunity for some last-minute shopping or a visit to local craft markets.
Departure: Transfer to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
